At what point does the wall come down? Does this make sense to anyone else? Isn’t she lovely. (I am not an English Major, nor I claim to be smart on the subject) Jesse brings up my art escapades at the Tate Modren. Jesse is on that Snapchat game. I walk through using Snapchat. I have no clue. Episode 55 starts with a big thanks to Mr. John Denney for being on the show. Thanks! We start with the week that was. Jesse had a huge life changing event take place. Good for him! Congrats to the four of you! We learn that Jesse doesn’t like the view. I try to ignore the crazies, but they are everywhere! It is our joint beliefe that Barbers should not say a thing, it’s easier that way. Unless I like you, then it might be ok. A dream tries to end the podcast. Another year, another birthday, Jesse is slowly reaching his 30’s. We have a theory as to how words come into existence. We move to money matters. Jesse needs an allowance to control his spending. Then off to inappropriate tv commercials at the gym. Matter of fact inappropriate commercials for tv in general. Story time! Jesse is trapped into conversations with old people, while I theorize the types of story tellers. We decide on doing shirts again this year. Jesse brings up the Hacker group Anonymous speech to Kanye West. It seems like Kayne’s getting a real bad wrap on the show. Is it deserved? Ahh Episode 34 gets started on the right foot. Dance moves all around for us. Jesse talks about his coast to coast trip, as well as several observations he had. I like to call these Jesse’s Do’s and Don’ts.

Episode 31 opens with some “D” and “B” talk. Jesse’s computer is just old and it is time for an upgrade, quit being cheap Jesse. We talk about History.com and Decembeard. To just two common guys, “Decembeard” seems like a failed/failing marketing campaign to raise awareness for something. Then somehow we concoct a snow angle challenge, this as trouble written all over it. And because it is the Holiday Season, we talk about giving back. I know that even while some may make fun of them, Toms is doing great things to help others with their One-for-One Programs. Then we move into volunteerism. Is this something that you do? At the end of the show we talk about North Sentinel Island and what it would be like to visit or be a member of this tribe. Episode 28 opens with some light computer talk. We suggest a name change for Apple. I talk about Bonfire Night, here is my picture. Jesse is prepping for a upcoming bow hunt. But the joy stops there as his daughter wants to show him what she ate. We quickly shift from child vomit to dog toys. We find out people really are crazy with the upcoming show, Eaten Alive. Could you do it? Could you succumb to your greatest fear? We change subjects to something a little more farfetched. You have heard of governmental war games, but have your here of these? In the 1980’s the British government wanted to test the theory that psychopaths could run the government. I think maybe some psychopaths concocted the idea. We then talk movies, Hunger Games – Mockingjay, Part 1, Twilight, and Harry Potter. I attempt to restart the If You Could, but derail it quickly. Wu Tang enters the conversation again, maybe the last time…=(ellipsis) And just as it seems that we are finished, Movember. Jesse self identifies as a hipster. Shoes become a topic as does my clothing choices. And on to coffee, those POD coffee makers are awesome.

Episode 25 starts with pure nonsense. We have been away from the show for some time but that will not stop us! I update everyone as to where I am in the world, while Jesse tries to impersonate someone with a british accent. We talk about driving on the left side of the road. I tell about how one day I nearly killed everyone in the car and how it was completely my wife’s fault. We talk about the new studio for half the Random Nothing Podcast. Yes there is a purpose for the large desk, plus it was cheap. Jesse suggest that glasses make you smart, I agree. Also, those with glasses are looking into the glass house. You have been lied to about Curious George, The Man In The Yellow Hat Has No Name. Here you go the reference to the study about voice in your head. Somehow Jesse nearly picks my drink of choice at Starbuck’s, the hot water with ice. We talk about deja vu and the craziness behind the concept. So after we talk about my stuff for 20 minutes I as Jesse how he is. Jesse explains that he just wants fall/winter to be here already. And boy is it good, it appears as if the roles have reversed and he’s now the boring one! LOL! Jesse is excited for Halloween, his fav. The movie Annebelle is mentioned. We learn that Jesse is afraid of scary movies and neither one of us is seeing this movie. Jesse has Halloween I have Guy Fox Day. Bring on the fireworks! Episode 23

Man has it been a long time since we recorded, like three weeks. We are behind the times. We open with some what going on and that’s vacation. And the worst part is the suitcase I live out of. Flying becomes a topic, we talk about pet peeves on a plane, cell phone use, and what the best seat is. Then Jesse describes his “near crash” flight.

We find out Jesse is a promoter of things. And even while I am in California I still do nothing, I need to work on this. Jesse is away in Florida, but tells us how much fun he has been having or not having. Honestly, how much fun can getting a ticket be? And why speed limits make no sense at times. Youtube videos make their way on and we talk about the Sweat it, To Got It, Featuring Payton Manning and Misery Bear. Jesse finds an article that should have stayed in the deep bowels of the internet about Casey Anthony. How is Swatting a fad? I guess this kid found out the hard way that it wasn’t a good idea after all. We move to spanking, where I stand corrected, spanking is allowed in California. We can’t get enough Hipster Art, so enjoy it with us.

The Fitness Challenge is at a stand still because Jesse was gone for two weeks eating like crap. I say sucks for him. We move to the upcoming Football season and talk about how the Broncos aren’t going to make it. Then Jesse gets yelled at. Do I have to have a football team? If so, what team can I pick. Jesse suggest I pick the Chargers, I’m not so sure. Apparently jesse believes that I bedazzle my satchel in my spare time, while being made fun of my wallet proto type. All the while, Jesse doesn’t know what a Pee Chee is.

Episode 22

Jesse starts by telling us about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. And I feel as if we have some deja vu talking about Megan Fox. We transition to our guest, Scott Monson, of Deep Blue Long Beach. Scott explains some is background and what makes him qualified. He suggest that diving has zen like qualities. I could see it. Scott then gives us some of his best experiences during his diving trips. As the conversation progresses we move into Jesse’s fear of sharks. (Here is an “article” about shark attacks, take it for what it’s worth.) The total number of shark “attacks” may surprise you.

Eventually, some how, Scott adds Jesse to his bucket list.

We end the conversation with Scott and continue with some banter of our own. Jesse enlightens me about the Cookie Cutter shark and Zombie Sharks, all while warming up to the idea of going scuba diving. Way to go Jesse!

Jesse gives us some of his Grandfather’s acronyms. I offer a suggestion to why old people have no filters. Kids are just as bad as old people, can’t rule them out either. And it wouldn’t be an episode of the Random Nothing Podcast without a failed attempt at a joke, at my expense.

But here is the question this week, if you had the choice to choose either being deaf or blind, which one would you choose? Jesse then wondering what the likelihood fo a blind individual dreaming in color is. I offer my answer. And of course I open my big mouth, Helen Keller is not Lizzie Borden. And what is it with all these nursery rhymes that involve death or horrendous events? Do I have a problem? You can’t have too many domains right? I make a mockery of my daughter’s name, She’ll thank me later. Jesse then finally comes to the realization that I am funny, at least in my own strange way.

Episode 20 starts right off with my tell of skydiving. I cant recommend it, but if it is your thing by all means go for it. Ok story telling time with Matt is over. Jesse suggest that he fell victim to the infamous Meriod.

I tend to think it’s him just being moody. Then I get lectured over my lucky pants. We educate you, the listeners, on lawn design. You’re welcome. Jesse brings up a reality TV show that he wants to get on, The Quest. But Im thinking that the Amazing Race is more our style. I bring up birthday months. What exactly is it and why do you need a month? Stick to a day yo!

There is a glitch in the matrix, we have a laugh about it. I then bring up a conversation that I have over the weekend, only to talk talk about it. Talk about self-control! I then go into a rant about national news outlets, sorry.

Meanwhile in Russia, giant sections of the earth are falling in on its self Then I take us down a path of fantasy baseball, where there are no winners. Jesse then ask me what care I would get is i could, of course I change my answer. Eventually we divert to truck talk and the prioce of the new F-150.

Episode 18, here we go! We start with Jesse showing off his vocal skills and the hope of better sound quality. Jesse then opens up about his frustrations about fellow parkers. And wonders if the “manscaping” that he does is a bit too much? I purpose that my satchel is in the same arena, Jesse doesn’t think so. We then discuss Jesse’s weekend plans out at Perris Big Dreams Softball After dissing Perris California for it’s entertainment factor we move on to the Fitness Competition.

And this is where Jesse starts to unravel. OREO COOKIES! Eventually Jesse opens up about his sugar addiction. I just sit back and enjoy the comedy. We shift topics to baseball and talk about the Homerun Derby. But I derail the topic and we wonder how or if normal people can actually meet “celebrities.”

Chase Curren is the head football coach at Elgin High School (Facebook.com) Coach Curren sheds some light on his day-to-day activities at the school. Jesse pocks fun about painting, but missed what he actually said. And expands upon the fact that sometimes plans change. Coach Curren has earned the title of Drill Sergeant for his no BS approach. FYI Coach, Fun Run ≠ Fun. Coach Curren talks about some disciple issues and how he can help with the program. And how that philosophy can help
mold the future members of the team. We shift gears a little and just shoot the poop. Coach Curren tells us what his theme song is, The Final Count Down by Europe.

Jesse tells us about his fellow gym goers training in Altitude Masks and other things that you should not wear in the gym.

We ask this weeks “If You Could…” be the best profession? Then I’m ridiculed for my answer while Jesse and Coach Curren each provide theirs. Eventually it is discovered that Jesse just hates on everyone’s good ideas. We then discuss July 4th. (I know its the 14 when this is released, deal with it!) And what “fun” each of us had. Again my ability to be a comic and have an inspiring career comes to light. Then Jesse and I talk about doing play-by-play for Coach Curren’s games. This has to happen!

Then towards the end, Coach Curren tells us about his up coming coaching season and how he is optimistic about doing well this season. And how the pre-game speech can affect the team so much. And how great it would be to have Saffo on the coaching staff.

We eventually trail off-topic and wonder what period of time we would live in, if we could choose and why. The last article is older, but still ingenious nonetheless, Man’s Flight to Kenya I think it would just be easier to take a few things out. But sometimes we are force to do what we do, regardless of how much sense it makes at the time.

We talk about some feedback from Episode 9 – Net Neutrality. Jesse tell us about a new app/old app called World Lens. We get Heinz 57 completely wrong. The 57 is for the number applications, not ingredients. Oh and it was founded in 1869. We then move into the world of tattoos. Jesse tells us about a highschool friend that got a ketchup tattoo. Not Jesse’s friend but it’s close enough, Ketchup Tattoo Then off to prehistoric times with a find of a new dinosaur. It takes archeologist 3 years to dig out a femer with paint brushes. It may be boring, yet preserves job security and site integrity.
